For parents

You want to do what's best for your child. Some days, that's harder than others.

When emotions take over, BeAligned gives you a private place to sort through what's happening, consider different perspectives, and decide what to do next.

A question to sit with in The Child's Chair™

Twenty years from now, what do you hope your child says about the relationship between the adults who raised them?

BeAligned guides you through questions that help you understand your reactions, reconnect with what matters, and consider your options.

01

Pause

Give yourself a moment before you respond.

02

Reflect

Guided questions help you see more of the picture — including your child's.

03

Choose

You decide what comes next. BeAligned doesn't decide for you.

You decide what comes next.

See it for yourself

See what happens when you give yourself a moment.

Trina Nudson, BeAligned's founder, explains what changes when you give a difficult moment a little more room before you decide.

When something happens, we naturally start with our own experience of it. What happened, how it affected us, what we're worried about, what feels unfair, or what we think needs to happen. The guided reflection helps you build out the rest of the picture. As you move through it, you'll think about what matters most to you. What you're trying to accomplish, what your child may need, what might be driving the other parent's position, and what else could be affecting the situation. You may notice something you hadn't considered. You may realize that the problem you're trying to solve isn't actually the real problem. You may see an option you couldn't see when you started. Or you may end up exactly where you began, but with more confidence about why. That's important because BeAligned isn't designed to make decisions for your family. It's designed to help you make better informed decisions for your family. Think of the guided reflection as doing something an instant answer can't do. Instead of just giving you an answer based on what you already see, it helps you see more before you decide.

Before you begin

Your reflection. Your decisions. Your privacy.

You can begin on your own.

No invitation, referral or professional required.

Your co-parent doesn't need to take part.

It only takes one person to approach things differently.

Guidance, not instructions.

BeAligned asks questions. It doesn't tell you who's right or what to decide.

Your reflections are yours.

If you work with a professional, you choose what to share: that you finished, where you landed, or the whole reflection.
